Business Fire Suppression System
This device is designed to minimize damage caused by fire by spraying mist from a nozzle installed on the ceiling into the train when a fire breaks out inside the train, thereby extinguishing the fire or suppressing combustion.
※ The installation location of the Fire Suppression Device may change depending on the vehicle configuration.
Schematic
- 01 In the event of a fire, the fire detector in the room detects the fire and transmits a fire alarm signal to the TCMS.
- 02 After checking the TCMS fire alarm, visually check the presence of fire in the room through CCTV.
- 03 After confirmation of fire occurrence, TCMS → Send information to control → Authorization of control unit operation → Switch panel operation → Fire suppression

Redundancy System design
The Redundancy System design allows for rapid spraying of water from the fire suppression device to the fire zone for early extinguishment regardless of whether the crew is in TC1 or TC2 in the event of a fire. The output of the control unit is configured as a unidirectional configuration so that the signal generated from each control unit does not affect the control unit on the opposite side.

Domestic Type-Approval
This product has obtained nozzle fire certification from the Korea Fire Industry Technology Institute and has completed the fire inspection certification test.

Train computer interlocking function of control unit
Each control unit can automatically/manually select and, if selected automatically, automatically controls the water tank of the fire suppression device with the signal from the train computer (TCMS). In the redundancy system structure, if one side is in automatic mode and the other side is in manual mode, the selected side is operated by the train computer (TCMS) and the control unit in manual mode is operated manually. It does not affect each signal generation and the fire suppression water tank is controlled in a way that operates first.

Temperature control function of the control unit
A thermostat is located within the control unit and the temperature inside the fire suppression device is measured to automatically operate the heater inside the fire suppression water tank to prevent the cooling water of the fire suppression device from freezing. (5 degrees or less: Operation, 15 degrees or more: Non-operation) The heater in the water tank of the temperature controller and fire suppression device uses an auxiliary battery to adjust the temperature in the fire suppression device even when the train is powered off to keep the cooling water unfrozen even in winter.
